3 months to the day… was on the beach getting ready for Ian. Going back to see the properties still standing Pink Flamingo, Mellow Yellow, and the 3 standing Sugar Beach homes. Preparing ourselves. Many years of love in these places, guests and local people. 🙏

We will have an update soon on the Sugar Beach Homes. We have had crews on the site cleaning up. Damage is being assessed. We are still waiting to hear if the 5 homes Pink Flamingo, Mellow Yellow, Mermaids Retreat, Sea Pearl and Citrus Kiss can be repaired. Unfortunately we completely lost Ocean Mist, Love Shack and the Sugar Shack that consisted of High Tide and Turtles Nest:(
We would love anybody to share any pictures of our beach homes and your memories.
Thank you for your many years of sharing in our little piece of paradise.

To our beloved guests, Fort Myers Beach is currently still closed off for rescue efforts only. We have not been unable to visit our Sugar Beach Homes property to complete an assessment of Hurricane Ian’s damage. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
