Annual Call to Meeting

Official Call for Intent to Run
There will be four (4) positions available on the Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting
Board members are elected for a two year term
Three to four meetings, including the Annual Meeting, are held each year. Other meetings are held as an as-needed basis
Board members receive monthly reports pertinent to the operation of the Association.

Those interested in volunteering to serve as a member of your Board of Directors should submit their intent to run, along with an additional paragraph of approximately 150 words (to be printed in the Annual newsletter) to Kahlua Beach Club no later than October 16, 2026

Submissions can either be mailed to 4950 Estero Boulevard, Ft. Myers Beach, FL 33931 or emailed to: [email protected]

Happy Saturday!
It's another beautiful day here at Kahlua!
Unfortunately, this past week there were two incidents of scammers trying to steal money from good people looking to rent a week here at KBC. Both times, messages were sent to potential renters from an "owner". The scammers are using legitimate names and unit/weeks, which were confirmed with the office. However, when it came time to pay, one scammer wanted the money sent to a third party. Thankfully, no money changed hands and the attempted theft ended there. It is suspected that scammers are using public information to pose as the owner.
Please be aware that even if the name and unit/week info of a potential renter matches what our records show, it still might not be a legitimate transaction. It's sad to see this happening, as this has been a great resource in the past for owners and renters to make a connection on their own. For a safer rental experience, RAL is available to handle your rental for you.
It was a bit rainy here last week, but we were visited by a manatee, a roseate spoonbill, and lots of dolphins!

Early today at least two owners have received emails from [email protected] that were not sent by the office.
Both emails were replies to previous legitimate emails, with the following message:

“EXTERNAL EMAIL

Hi,
Could you please review the attached document.”

Our IT professional is looking into the issue.

As always, please do not open any attachments that are suspect.

The biggest patriotic party on Fort Myers Beach is happening at Parrot Key! On Saturday, June 27th, more than 90 decorated boats will take to the water for the Salty Sam's Patriot Boat Parade celebrating America's 250th Anniversary.

The parade departs Salty Sam's Marina at 11:00 AM and circles Fort Myers Beach before returning around 2:00 PM for a huge dock party right here at Parrot Key Caribbean Grill!

Head up for Saturday, July 4th...

START PLANNING:
On the 4th of July, the Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed to oncoming traffic for the parade from 9AM to Noon and for the fireworks from 8PM to 11:30PM.

Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub remain closed. Our contractor is working with their subcontractor, Fountain Pools, to resolve the remaining open items, which they are working diligently to finish. We apologize to the owners who will be at Kahlua while the contractor continues to work on the pool and hot tub for the noisy, and frustrating delay. At this time, we expect the repairs to be completed in the next few days and the reinspection of the pool to be on June 30, 2026.
