Good afternoon everyone, this is Al with our first message regarding BABC. We are still trying to assess the damages and will have more info to follow, over the next several days. The first videos of the property show lots of sand buildups again, as well as brick pavers ripped up and debris strewn everywhere, as expected. At first glance, it doesn’t look like any major structural damage and we have not been able to assess the electrical panels, meters, A/C units or elevator system but nothing leads us to believe there are major issues, at this point. Seems to be similar to damage sustained in Hurricane Helene, which took us 10 days to repair, losing parts of 3 separate weeks (2 evacuations and 1 canceled week). Unfortunately, we will need to cancel stays for this coming Saturday, for arrivals on 10-12 (Week 41) through Friday 10-18. We will advise as more details and information become available. Please be patient while we assess further and put together a cleanup / repair plan with the Board and RAL. We still need to assemble our employees, staff, team members and critical vendors, as there were mandatory evacuations for the Beach and most portions of Ft. Myers, so everyone will first need to return home and prepare! Thank you for all your support and we will be updating again soon! Al

The team at RAL is keeping an eye on this storm for our firm and the association's we manage. We should be in the clear from this hurricane but we can never be too cautious with the weather as everyone should know. Our main office will be closed tomorrow 9/26/2024 to allow our workers to stay home with their families and keep from any unnecessary travel. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we plan to resume normal operations at our office on 9/27/2024.
