Some of the sea turtles that were unable to dig out were collected yesterday am by turtle time and will be released at night. There were seven total that needed a helping hand. Excessive rain earlier in June may have contributed to the hard packed sand overhead. The more recent nests should have an easier go if we dont get another 5 incher or a tropical system.

Four more nests to go.

The 5th sea turtle of the 2022 nesting season came ashore and laid her eggs on the night of July 3. This batch should hatch in early September.

World "Sea Turtle Day" June 16, 2022. To date we have 3 sea turtle nests at the White Whale. First little guys will begin their life journey in mid-July.
