We no longer own this cottage. For some reason I cannot delete it. Any ideas on how to take down this listing? TIA

SOLD! It’s been a good run and we have loved our Lazy Limpkin Cottage. The new owner will still offer vacation rentals.
We swapped our cottage for a BEACHFRONT CONDO at Lovers Key Beach Club on FT Myers Beach. It is an Airbnb rental. If you didn’t book your winter vacation I will have availability starting in Jan 2022 (after we close December 2021). Unheard of this time of year on FT Myers Beach but I have large blocks of time open for 2022!! Incredible water views from the 12th floor…and a sugar sand private beach! I’ll be listing the day after closing. You are first to know.

The water is warm at the beach! You really can just get right in, it’s so warm! I love going to the beach this time of year.
Not only is the beach gorgeous but our Laxy Limpkin Cottage Butterfly Garden is filled with flying beauties. I raise butterflies at my home so when I go to the cottage I look for eggs or caterpillars that I can take home to put in my tents to continue to raise and release as butterflies at the cottage or at home. My cottage Butterfly Garden has plants that are either host plants for the caterpillars or nectar plants for butterfly food.
Anytime is a good time to reserve your beachy, Butterfly Garden stay at either our 2-BR Island Life Suite or 1-BR Balmy Breeze Bungalow. Check out our availability and reserve now before Europe reserves (and they are eager to get back to this patch of paradise here in SWFL).

Celebrate Mom as we paint a special stemware glass. Art Class is free and all materials are provided: One glass stemware, special glass paint, use of brushes and aprons, palette as well as step by step art guidance and templates. Any level of interest or ability is welcome. Class size limited to first 15 pre-registrations.
After class, Jenny will lead a FREE Art Journaling walk. Meet at the Welcome and Discovery Center open air classroom. Choose from two available walks.

Free journals and pencils are included in the free hour-long nature-walk art lessons.
Group size is limited to the first 15 participants to arrive. A Park Ranger may accompany the group to answer questions about flora and fauna of the Park. Depending on availability, enjoy a butterfly release!

This Swallowtail looks big...and it is! It is one of our special guests at our beachy Lazy Limpkin Cottage on Ft Myers Beach. Their host plant is Wild Lime and she was busy laying eggs. While she was fluttering around there was a busy Monarch also in our Butterfly Garden. You are invited to be our guests at our cottage. We have two spaces currently open for vacation rentals. Balmy Breeze Bungalow is a one bedroom and Island Life Suite is a two bedroom. The beach is calling! When not at the beach you can enjoy our peaceful and beautiful cottage garden where you’ll see and hear lots of birds and butterflies.

Yep, it was me. I did it. Didn’t mean to but somehow I synced my two calendars of both vacation rentals which ended up blocking next week (and then some) at our Cottage. I kept thinking how weird it was that it wasn’t booked. Somehow I...yes me... I did it twice!! All fixed now thanks to the VRBO pros (Airbnb folks are fantastic, too).
Not good for business but really good for those of you who wait until the last minute. So our Cottage is available Saturday, Jan 9-14, 2021.
Needing to get out of the snow and cold ASAP...well, here you go!

Book now!! There is still good availability for January, February and March! I just changed our cancellation policy so our guests can receive a full refund up to 5 days in advance of check in. This will give our guests peace of mind should there be uncertainty due to Covid 19. Our fall season has been great with lots of local guests. With foreign travel pretty much nonexistent we depend on US friends to be our guests. Book now if you are hoping for a winter getaway. We did a thing. Our Balmy Breeze Bungalow is now for rent. It is our economy 1-BR/BA unit renting now for only $75 a night. Small dogs welcome, too. Our beach is dog friendly!

Sometimes it’s the little things. I’ve been at our Balmy Breeze Bungalow on FT Myers Beach getting it all spiffy for you...our Airbnb guest. Yesterday it was an install of a new kitchen faucet. It’s not a big deal, but I don’t know about you, I love a nice kitchen faucet. This one has the sprayer in the nozzle that pulls out. Isn’t it pretty?! It looks kinda gold in the pic but it is brushed nickle.
The true reward of the day is the sunset walk on the beach. Now that is a BIG deal. Book now for your daily beach walk..! Only $75 a night...and that is the BEST deal! Book directly on our Airbnb calendar. Be sure to clear the calendar as you click on dates. Here is the link. We are ready for you!

Are you tired of being cooped up? Our Balmy Breeze Bungalow at Lazy Limpkin Cottage on Fort Myers Beach is now available for vacation rent. It is a 1-BR/1-BA smaller space and right now rents for $75 a day-4 day minimum! Small pet ok; even a cat! Daily pet fee required. It is a block off the quiet, sugar sand Gulf of Mexico beach. There is no public parking on our nearby beach access so it’s like your own semi-private beach!
Come be our guests! Here is the Airbnb link. The calendar shows open starting the first of September. However, it could be available starting August 15. Just let me know if you’d like it in August.
