Some of you have asked about the sea turtle nest on our beach at Seaspray. It was located just off the east walk over. Here is the update from the county:
We evaluated the nest last night ( I think Sunday) as it reached day 80 with no evidence of hatching. Unfortunately, we found 104 unhatched eggs in the nest. Enough water was in the nest during Tropical Storm Bertha and stopped development in the eggs.. We were really hoping we would see some hatchlings come out of that nest, but that was not the case unfortunately. This is a post card, from times past of beautiful Seaspray Condominiums.
