One of my favorite things about our condo is being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the show. During the summer, our guests can enjoy the Wednesday night fireworks right from the balcony — no crowds, no parking, just a beautiful view. 🌴🎆❤️

Here is a look at Brooks Bridge construction progress near the Santa Rosa Boulevard roundabout north of U.S. 98 on Okaloosa Island.

These comparison images show a recent aerial and an artist’s rendering of the future roundabout. Traffic will eventually tie into the widened Santa Rosa Boulevard and the new North Connection, which are being constructed and improved to increase safety and traffic flow.

The $171 million Brooks Bridge replacement project includes constructing two new, parallel bridge structures that will increase capacity to six travel lanes from the current four-lane bridge that opened in 1966.
