As of this evening, we have officially removed our listing from Airbnb. Their crazy amount of fees and new rules have made listing with them impossible. Unfortunately, some of their newest proposed rules would have a significant impact on how I communicate with guests. If you have stayed with us, you know that the ability to communicate with our guests is something that is completely essential to how I operate and enables me to provide the personalized experience our guests deserve. If we continued to take bookings with all of the new rules in place, I fear it would eventually negatively impact the overall guest experience for everyone and have financial impacts on everyone.
My goal has always been to provide a 5 star vacation experience for our guests and I will continue to do that without Airbnb’s help.
