This is the lake property you've been looking for... be our guest and see for yourself. We have lovingly and thoughtfully restored this 1945 farmhouse for over 12 months. We invite you to enjoy the cozy, relaxing interior and the quiet, tranquil exterior. We fell in love w

ith this property because of the peaceful, natural setting. The grounds surrounding the property are purposely not overly manicured, as we prefer to preserve the natural grasses and growth for the native wildlife. We always love seeing the gorgeous deer that frequent the property. The lot is lakefront; however, it sits high above the water and the very rustic path down to the lake is steep and uneven. Deer Hollow's location is absolutely perfect for enjoying hiking, dining, shopping, and events on the west side of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Eagle Mountain Lake hiking trails are a short 6 minute drive. The Fort Worth Stockyards are just 30 minutes away, as is one of our favorite restaurants - Lonesome Dove Bistro. To the north, and just over 30 minutes away, is the Tanger Outlets offering great outlet shopping. Texas Motor Speedway is a 30-40 minute drive for our racing enthusiast friends. To the south, the Forth Worth Museum of Science & History is approximately 30 minutes and the Fort Worth Zoo is approximately 40 minutes away. 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOW AT THE FORT WORTH BOAT CLUB!!!!
The Fort Worth Boat Club will be putting on their annual 4th of July Fireworks Show again this year, on Friday July 4th. With sunset around 2040 (8:40pm), the show should start soon after 2100 (9:00pm). As usual, the club request you respect the Safety Zone set up around the Fireworks Barge for everyone’s safety. The barge requires a 250-yard Safety Zone in all directions in order to start the show.
We have made this very easy to identify this year by deploying lighted buoys at 250-yards from the barge. They will be White Buoys, with DO NOT ENTER and Orange Flashing Lights on them. The barge itself will be positioned 250-yards South West of the West Breakwater in front of the club. Tying up to FWBC docks or the inside of west breakwater for the show is PROHIBITED. The breakwater is not designed to be moored too and it will damage it. The area from each end of the west breakwater to the barge are included in the SAFETY ZONE.
Please, after the show, do not transit the SAFETY ZONE. You must transit outside the zone for your own safety. There are always some pyrotechnic that do not ignite and the some small fires on the barge that must be extinguished before anyone can come within the 250-yard SAFETY ZONE. For those that choose to ignore this, law enforcement will be on scene to discuss this with you in person.
Please everyone enjoy a safe and happy 4th of July and we look forward to the lake being full of boats for the show. For those not in a rush to leave, we suggest you let the crowds thin out before trying to head out.
