Thankful Thursday
Tribulations cost a little bit…but gratitude is FREE!! Two weeks ago I went to lunch on a Tuesday and this little cutie SHUTDOWN!

Today, she’s fixed & ready to roll. New alternator. New battery. New destination loading…

I haven’t been to my alma mater in YEARS. I planned to go to homecoming this year and NillaYak tried to ‘shutdown’ that plan. I didn’t expect repairs to take this long, but I kept saying if she’s rocking-we’re rolling. 🏎️ Pray for our travels. Tomorrow she’s going to The Burg!

I’m thankful she didn’t stop in heavy traffic
I’m thankful for Uber to get me home (not available during my time at UCM)
I’m thankful she was towed to the dealership (30+ miles) - mostly covered by insurance
I’m thankful because a few short years ago, my financial means to fix it were more of a struggle
I’m thankful my DST Lil Sis lives near the dealer and will pick up NillaYak and bring her home
I’m thankful she’s ready in time to make the trip and deliver Kommunity Cares donations.

That is not too lofty nor too much to ask for.

No one can beat God’s calling or covering or giving! We cannot grow weary of doing good.

If you want to join efforts to send supplies to the young lady we are gifting through Kommunity Cares this month, she can use your donations.

She likes to decorate for holidays. She likes to cook. She appreciates inspirational messages in her space. And this is her first apartment. Anything you want to provide, she will accept. Let’s help make her space feel like home.
