Aiken Manor is located at the foothills of the White Mountains on beautiful Webster Lake in Franklin, New Hampshire. Aiken Manor was built by Jonas Aiken in the mid 1800's for his wife. Jonas Aiken was a famous inventor and many of his inventions are on display at the New Hampshire Historical Society As a famous inventor, Jonas Aiken often was host to other prominent inventors such as Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Harvey Firestone. Webster Lake is named after Daniel Webster whose boat house is still on the property. Aiken Manor is a quiet spot located close to shops, the Tanger Outlet Mall, several Ski resorts, Fun Spot, and Weirs Beach.
