Sporting Events & Family Fun (10 a.m. –
3 p.m.): Parker Meadows Complex
(4306 Patton Road) hosts whiffle ball,
kickball, basketball, and watermelon
eating contests.

Free Concert on the Square (6 p.m. –
10 p.m.): Main Street downtown features
live music from Jason Passmore and Rock
Holler.

Saturday, July 4: Downtown Parade & Rec Park Fireworks

Independence Day Parade (10 a.m. –
2 p.m.): Downtown on Main Street. The
parade features community, walking, and
riding entries. Lineup is 10:30 a.m. at
Town Hall.

Downtown Festivities: Following
the parade, enjoy free watermelon, the
Little Mr. & Miss Firecracker Contest, the
Patriotic Pet Contest, and inflatables.

Fun & Fireworks in the Park (4 p.m. –
10 p.m.): Macon County Recreation Park
(1288 Georgia Rd) features food trucks,
live music, face painting, and games.

250th Anniversary Fireworks Display (10
p.m.): Headlined by Braden Rumfelt, the
fireworks display begins at dark, followed
by an American Idol star performance.

Main Street Parking: Closed for the parade at 8:00 a.m. on July 4th.
