We are a hiker hostel dedicated to offering outstanding support for Trail Families of 1 to 4 hikers.

05/09/2026

Shortstop made a semi short stop with us at All In The Tramily. Her stride may be small, but she is one determined thru hiker! She fell victim to the food-stealing bear at Muskrat Creek. Luckily we had her restock box and an Ursack bag, so we were able to send her food on the trail (thanks Sunsets!) A few days later she was caught in the thunderstorm and a tree fell 20 feet in front of her. One More was able to do a rescue run to Winding Stair. Despite the challenges she remains upbeat and on trail…and she earned Trail Dog Freddie’s ultimate endorsement. He climbed up in her lap during the storm!

We were honored to have Navy veteran Michael stay with us at All In The Tramily. He has a great attitude despite what most would call a rough start. His hiking friend had an injury on day one and had to leave the trail. Then a bear stole several bear bags from Muskrat Shelter, including his. He regrouped with us here. We had a great time trading stories about travels and hiking. He is back out and heading north, doing his hike his way!

We welcomed Four Seasons to All In the Tramily this week! He took a day from his section hike in Georgia to visit Outdoor 76 here in Franklin. After a “refitting” he went back to Georgia and hiked back up here…without any foot pain!

H***h (minus her dog Turner) finally made it to All In The Tramily! She was scheduled to come back when Helene hit NC. She has some stories about being in Asheville when that hit. So glad she’s back out now. And as a bonus for us, she has actually been to and camped on Antarctica! That’s our next scheduled adventure for December! A lot of fun sharing stories with her.

Meet Dara, PK, and Wooly! They spent their recent Franklin zero with us at All In The Tramily. They had one full night at the Lazy Hiker and one full day of rest and recovery! They are a fun Tramily that takes the time to meet people. So glad they chose to stay with us!

We recently welcomed Hook Up to All In The Tramily! He got his name because he always seems to have whatever his fellow hikers might need. I can also verify he ruled the corn hole boards at Lazy Hiker!

Andrew, Stuart and Big Tuna stopped in at All In The Tramily. What a fun group! They were also extremely polite. One More got ma’amed way more than she likes! 😂 Best of luck to them on their NOBO thru hike!

We’ve got a lot of catching up to do on our hiker posts. It’s been a GREAT season! We were happy to see our friend Minnesota this year! She has stayed with us at All In The Tramily before. Minnesota has a love of the trail, and appreciates staying connected with nature. It’s fun talking with her. We enjoyed the company so much that we forgot to get a new photo! We’re sharing a previous one from back in a rainy season. We are currently in drought here!

We were happy that Pitch stopped in at All In The Tramily! We picked him up just after the recent heavy rains around Rock Gap. We used everything from our covered clothesline to our boot dryer to get his gear back to trail ready. He’s back on trail and logging some big miles.
