This past weekend more than 275 people came together to celebrate the Camp Kikthawenund Centennial!

Friends and fans of Kikthawenund, current and past camp staff, members of the council board, Scouting professionals, and Scouts of all ages, all gathered to commemorate and celebrate 100 years of the legacy of this incredible camp.

Camp staff alumni flew and drove from near and far to be a part of this historic event, with the furthest travelers coming all the way from Arizona! For so many who celebrated with us, Camp Kikthawenund was—or still is—their home away from home. And for those staff members that traveled so far, what's 2,000 miles when your destination is home?

We are beyond humbled and grateful to be a part of your Scouting story. We are indebted to those who came before us, who built the foundation and reputation of this place and paved the way for the generations who followed.

A century of service, a lifetime of memories. And here's to 100 years more.

Happy 100th, Camp Kikthawenund!
