It's like magic here at the camground. The kids want to go down to the Ice Cream Shop after dinner and all of a sudden, an Ice Cream truck shows up. Turn up the volume and watch all the kids come running.

This is what we love most about Hankerd’s Horseshoe Lake Campground.

We are totally full, but even on a busy holiday weekend, listen… not a sound coming from the campground.

That is exactly the kind of place we are trying to build here: peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. A place where you can sit by the fire, hear the birds, enjoy the trees, and actually down.
If you are looking for loud, crowded, and nonstop activity, we may not be the campground for you.
But if you want peace and quiet?
You come here.
