This is going to be a great peach season here in Fredericksburg. The basket of peaches came off of our peach trees a few years back and this is one of my favorite breakfast dishes that I make with them. Guests tell me these are the best pancakes they have ever eaten made even better with my homemade peach syrup. June is a good month to come for a visit because the local peach stands will be open. I know of a good one that lets you pick your own. Nothing better than eating a sun warmed peach right off the tree.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Love decorating for these special days and St. Pat’s is just fun because it’s all about wearing of the green, luck and good Irish food.
I think I will bake some Irish soda bread in an iron skillet for our guest’s breakfast and maybe some Boxty (potato pancakes).
Spring is on the way and the wildflowers are popping up so come for a visit.

Come on down we are a running an August special. $40.00 savings not only on weekdays but weekends also. Yeah, I know it's hot in August but so are our delicious breakfasts. Homemade biscuits, the best pancakes you ever tasted and fresh coffee roasted just for us are so worth it. The air-conditioners in each cottage work great.
