“A Barn At The Quarry” contains four gorgeously unique suites: the Gold Country Suite, the North Country Suite, the Hill Country Suite and Sunshine cabin
The Gold Country Suite is an upper level suite made up of two rooms and sleeps up to two people. The cedar paneling, unique metal paneled ceiling, claw foot bathtub, deep burgundy colors and rock walls give the cabin a romantic rustic, country feel. It also has its own private patio and parking away from the big shared patio for some additional extra privacy. The North Country Suite is on the patio level and is the closest room to the hot tub. The cedar paneling, rock wall and rustic sconces help this suite feel like a rustic mountain getaway. This room sleeps 1-4 people (with a queen bed and queen pull out couch). The design and decor reflect spring in the Texas Hill Country. This room sleeps 1-4 people (with a queen bed and queen pull out couch) and has an in-room whirlpool bath tub. Sunshine Cabin is a stand alone cabin with extra privacy and it’s own patio away from the larger shared patio that our bed and breakfast guests share with a huge whirlpool bath hot tub. In addition we have our 4 bedroom Farmhouse available at the very top of the hill. Every window of the farmhouse has an awesome view, but the views from this patio are particularly spectacular. With private hot tub, fire pit, outdoor couches, outdoor bar & grill and enough seating at our 14 foot table for 12 this is an amazing place to host your guests or family. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go with any utensils you may need and offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are two living rooms, one king bed in the master, 4 queen beds and a queen pull out couch in the serving living room of La Casita inside the Farmhouse. La Casita (which is one room with queen bed & separate living room with pull out queen couch) and has a handicapable bathroom with handrails and walk in shower can also be rented separately for a significant discount but only if the Farmhouse has not been rented on those dates 2 weeks in advance. When you stay at our Texas Hill Country accommodations, you'll get to meet our resident comedian Lorenzo the llama, and our 2 adorable mini donkeys (Espresso & Latte) while you enjoy rolling, grassy hills naturally landscaped by live oaks, cedar, and possum haw holly. Many of our guests enjoy sitting outside the bed and breakfast interacting with the animals during the day and watching the many wild deer, armadillos and other animals that pass through our property in the evening. Let your normally fast-paced life become a distant memory while you read a book, take a walk, sight see for deer, watch a movie, indulge in a soothing hot tub, or sit on the patio with an extra cup of coffee or ice cold beverage. Or head next door and enjoy live music and great food at Bankersmith and Grapetown Vineyard where you can feed the baby goats or check out all the exotic animals such as zebras, camels, bison, long horns and more. The bed and breakfast units share a large conveniently located outdoor patio with a huge hot tub, charcoal grill and tables which provides plenty of private space and meeting space if you are traveling with friends or bringing the whole family. It is a welcome spot for having breakfast, a late night snack or complimentary glass of wine on us. You will enjoy and appreciate the amenities that come with your bed and breakfast suites. Direct TV is our satellite TV provider with television sets in every room, also our WI-FI internet service is available in every room. Along with a bottle of wine, a complimentary treat bag to feed the animals, in room continental breakfast you can heat up at your leisure, a Cowboy kitchen, coffee and tea station as well as other snacks and goodies. The hot tub is especially welcome at the end of the day. It is also a slow, easy way to start the day watch the sunset or even the sunrise.
