Edwards Waterhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast in Fredonia, New York. Around 1850 F.S. We are proud to reveal a new use of this proud structure.

Edwards constructed a modest Italianate Villa at 71 Central Avenue in Fredonia, NY that was transformed in 1895 by the new owner, Dr. John Waterhouse, into the magnificent Queen Anne Victorian that it is today, more than doubling the size. The house has seen many uses, from a home, sanitarium, women’s college dormitory (known as “Alumni Hall”) and apartments. The Edwards Waterhouse Inn, an elegant five room bed & breakfast.

Delayed post but we had such fun this weekend celebrating a birthday and State University of New York at Fredonia graduation and offered a special dinner to our guests…

Charcuterie, harvest salad, Greek salad, arugula salad, a lovely Caesar (thanks to Wendell for the romaine!) to start then pistachio crusted salmon with a maple Dijon glaze, roasted carrots, and risotto, NY strip or filet mignon with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots (and a gorgeous red wine demi), and chicken Milanese over risotto.

Chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream was the perfect finish to the meal
