FULL 2024 SOLAR ECLIPSE EVENT INFORMATION
FRENCH LICK - WEST BADEN AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

A portion of Main Street and the brick portion of Maple Street in French Lick Will be closed beginning Friday afternoon until the event is over on Monday. Monon Street (by the train station) will be closed on Monday, the day of the eclipse to re-direct the additional traffic and prevent issues at this already dangerous intersection.
WHAS 11 Louisville will be broadcasting live on Monday with a roving reporter in town.
The Springs Valley Fire Department will be staffed at French Lick and West Baden Stations on Monday and will evaluate Saturday and Sunday for staffing. Signs will be placed to direct guests to these First Aid locations.
Signs will be placed at strategic locations to direct guests to parking, etc.
There will be a "Tow Lot" located on College Street in the lot next to Twin City Feed Mill. If anyone parks illegally, their vehicle will be towed to this lot. They will then be able to pick up their vehicle once the tow bill is paid.
Port-a-Potties will be located in the empty lot between the German Cafe and Body Reflections
There will be security on the Town Green on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
There will be parking and viewing of the Eclipse at the West Baden Springs Park and they will also have the concession stand open. (There will be signs directing guests to this location)
There will be live music on the Town Green Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Saturday night will be Jeff Stevens and Dale Baker from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Sunday night will be Juice Box Heroes from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
There will also be Corn Hole games on the Town Green.
Sidewalk Chalk will be offered for children and the chalk can be picked up at the French Lick West Baden Museum beginning at 10:00 am on Monday, April 8th.
Face Painting will be in front of the French Lick West Baden Museum beginning at 10L00 am on Monday, April, 8th.
The French Lick West Baden Museum will have eclipse T-Shirts for sale and an old-time jukebox will be in front of the Museum playing music.
