Another beautiful day here at Steens Mountain Wilderness Resort.

We are truly blessed to wake up to blue skies, beautiful views, and another wonderful day in this incredible corner of Oregon. We never take it for granted.

As we enjoy this day, we're also keeping in our thoughts and prayers the brave firefighters, first responders, and support crews working tirelessly to battle the wildfires across Oregon. May they stay safe, find strength for the days ahead, and may the communities affected find protection and hope.

We're incredibly grateful for all they do.

For those customers watching the Osprey Nest camera on the private property next door...the egg has hatched. Trying to get a picture of it. But Harriet (lovingly called by the staff of SMWR) is keeping the little one secluded.
