On October 3, the Fresno Bass Club participated in the 2026 Northern CA Club Classic at the CA Delta. Each club enters six two man teams and the club with the overall highest combined team weight wins.

This year it took 73 pounds to win. 73 pounds for second and the FBC finished third with 70.5 lbs.

Fresno Bass Club members Corey Squires and Chris Tillman weighed in the biggest five fish limit in the event with 20.80 lbs. which was anchored by this beautiful 8.17 largemouth caught by Chris on a chatter-bait.

The Delta was pretty stingy with our anglers this past weekend except for AJ Duncan who found a small stretch of water that produced over 34 lbs. for him over two days. Winning by 13 lbs. over second place angler Corey Squires. Congratulations AJ you flat out hammered them! Here are the results for the top five anglers. Weights are for 10 fish total (Sat / Sun)

1.) AJ Duncan 34.20 lbs.
2.) Corey Squires 21.70 lbs.
3.) John Albidrez 18.63 lbs.
4.) Chris Paris 18.54 lbs. BF: 6.88 lbs.
5.) Bill Rowles Sr. 17.86 lbs.

Here is the blast-off and pairings for this weekend’s Delta tournament. Check-in no later than 5:30 AM at B&W Resort. Sunrise is 6:50 AM and Safe light is approximately 6:30 AM. Weigh-in 3:00 PM at B&W ramp.

Here are the top five for last night’s all nighter at Pine Flat. Plenty of small fish caught but with the water dropping almost three feet a day, made it tough to find quality bites. These results are for (10) fish. (dual weigh-in).

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!

Due to the current launching conditions at Island Park we are now back to launching out of DEER CREEK!!

Water dropping approximately 2.9 feet a day which has made the Island Park ramp difficult to use at this point.

Check-in no later than 5 PM at DEER CREEK!!
