We are currently taking reservations for the 2026 Upland Bird Hunting Season.

At this time the following dates are available:

September 19th - 25th
September 26th - October 2nd
October 3rd - 9th

**Opening week pheasant season availability October 10th - 16th**

Montana FWP has set the 2026 Upland Bird Hunting Season Dates:

Sharptail Grouse: Sept 1-Jan 1
Hungarian Partridge: Sept 1-Jan 1

Youth Pheasant: Sept 19-20th

Pheasant: Oct 10- Jan 1.

Please check the MFWP for specific rules and regulations regarding the upland seasons.

Growing up Thanksgiving was all about spending time in God’s creation. We had Thanksgiving dinner at our Michigan deer camp as long as I can remember. Blessed to spend another week in Eastern Montana. Good times with old friends. We saw a major weather change that colored the countryside white. Those late season Rooster colors are spectacular. Go get in the woods! Happy Thanksgiving

Our guest got it done! In less than favorable conditions, 35+ mph sustained wind and after a long week of hard work it all paid off. This was the last day. Under the guidance and assistance of Jett and Copper our guest John filled his limit of Roosters. It was a fun filled evening of stories and celebrations. Congratulations John.🇺🇸
