Dasche for the Stache 5K

Hey, Runners! Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday! Here is some race-day information:

1. There will be NO early packet pickup. All packets will be available on Saturday at 8AM inside Blackstone Pub & Eatery.
2. The race starts at 9AM and there will be bananas and coffee if you need something before the race starts.
3. There will be pizza for runners after the race is over - awards will start at approximately 10AM or after all runners have finished.
4. Broad Street will be closed in front of Blackstone Pub & Eatery between the 400 block and the 600 block - parking is available behind Blackstone Pub & Eatery in the parking lot on Locust Street.
5. If you registered before the t-shirt deadline, your shirt will be in your race bag. If you did not register before the t-shirt deadline, if there are any shirts left, we can give you one.

Get ready to sprint down Broad Street as the lead out to the Kiwanis Christmas parade wearing your Santa hat and jingle bell bracelet (provided to each runner in the swag bag)! Proceeds from this event will go to children’s organizations sponsored by the Gadsden Kiwanis Club and The Way of the Cross.

When: Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 9:30 AM.

Where: Downtown Gadsden. Group photo on the steps of Campbell Professional Building at 9:30AM. Race begins at 7th and Broad Street at 9:45AM.

Price: $25. Those registered by November 25th will be guaranteed a tee shirt.

Race Day Registration will be $30.

Awards: The top 3 overall male and female 5K participants will receive awards. Prizes will be awarded for best Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

Post-Race: Participants are encouraged to enjoy the rest of the Kiwanis Christmas parade and shop, play and dine with the merchants and restauranteurs of Downtown Gadsden.
