What makes a bright sun shiny fall day the “Best Day Ever!” A nature hike to Woodstream Campsite. This beautiful 1st October day we were visited by 35 some happy faces from the Letchworth preschool class. Their adventure began with a nature hike, exploring the outdoors as they made their way through the crunchy, colored leaves to the campsite. The kids then boarded the wagon ride to explore the camp. I did hear the cry of “Let's go Buffalo!” shouted out on our trek about camp. Then some playtime on the new Castle Playground - what fun! Each child brought along their lunch, which was followed by an ice cream treat and many thank-you's rang out as the dishes made it to the hands of tiny smiling faces. Yes as the little voice did say — “The Best Day Ever!"

Chills are in the October air, and you know what that means!? It’s time for our camper Chili Cook Off! Join us on October 4th in the morning for a Fall Craft. Later, grab your spoons and favorite fixins’ to test our campers’ finest chili recipes! Winners take away bragging rights and complimentary hot chocolates from the store. The Fall Festivities continue when you cozy up for a campground hayride to view the vibrant fall colors! Check in the store for specific times and details. REMINDER: We moved our Fall Vendor Event to next Saturday, October 11th to add to our Columbus Day Weekend Events!

We would be remiss if we did not express our gratitude and share our excitement because of this season's Halloween Weekend celebrations! Your participation in making the campground SPOOKTACULAR was truly extraordinary! Halloween weekends are always something we look forward to, but this year made it our absolute favorite! Wonderful memories were made for all involved! It was not easy to choose our winners each week because all of the participating sites were so BOOtiful! Congratulations to our well-deserved winners!
