Our Friends group is raising dough! Join us at Panera Bread in Gainesville and show off this post to help us raise money for future park programs and continued trail upkeep. Our amazing Friend's group assists with our fall events, park decorations and trail upkeep! We can't thank them enough for their continued support. Please show them your support!!

Tri The Parks is happening this weekend!

The boat ramp will be closing Friday afternoon and will be closed Saturday morning. The equestrian trails will be closed Saturday morning. We'll be reopening these two areas around lunch time as the race traffic clears out. The beach parking lot will also be full during the morning. If you are coming to the park, please be watchful of bikers out on the roads!

This species of mayfly can be found near lakes and slow-moving rivers. The larvae are aquatica and burrow in mud and adults have a brief life. A mature adult can be as big as 1 inch long!

White Spring Moth

This tiny moth is entirely white, with no spots, speckles or lines. It's wingspan is 15-23mm!! Their wings are fringed along the outer edges and remain open when resting. It can be found throughout North America and is active May -July.
