Friends & Neighbors — We Could Use Your Support Tomorrow!
Tomorrow, Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 PM, we will be going before the Hall County Board of Commissioners regarding the Ark on Lake Lanier.
We are asking for approval to operate as an Event Facility, along with approval to use our property directly across the street for occasional overflow parking when needed.
We aren’t wanting to do large and loud events. We are just trying to find the best way to serve those we are called to serve.
Jeff will be speaking on behalf of the Ark and telling our story.
For years, The Ark has been a special place for families, churches, nonprofits, ministries, and other groups to come together—to reconnect, retreat, heal, celebrate, and spend meaningful time with the people who matter to them. We’re incredibly proud of what The Ark has become and the people it has served.
Tomorrow is an important night for us, and we would LOVE to have a room full of friendly, supportive faces there.
You don’t have to speak. You don’t have to prepare anything. Just showing up in support of The Ark would mean a great deal to us and will help the commissioners see that there are many people in our community who believe in what we are doing. (In fact, since Jeff is sharing the story, we don’t expect there to be any time for positive comments as we only have 20 minutes total to tell the story and need to leave some time for rebuttal after any negative comments).
