As we celebrate Magnolia Plantation’s 36th anniversary, we would like to take a moment to thank you.
Yes, you. We mean our neighbors, our staff family, our guests, our friends, and Joe’s Mom and Dad. At one point in time during the 36 years we’ve been open, you have been there to support us as a local business through the many hardships of life.
You were there to help restore the Baird Mansion to its former glory. With each wall painted, floor sanded, and with each nail you placed, you built us from the ground up.
As the years go by, there was always something at the Magnolia Plantation that needed to be repaired. It could be an AC unit, a leaky pipe, or a door that required a new door handle. You were there to fix it, all the while, cracking jokes and sharing advice.
You were there for us by providing meals and company when we were too focused on the job in front of us, telling us it’s time to take a break.
You helped us build a neighborhood that we can proudly call our home. As you go about your business, you always say hello. You are the community we have come to cherish and love.
When business was either slow or busy, you were there for us, making a reservation to show you chose us for a reason. You told us about your adventures in life as we provided breakfast, listening to what you had to say.
You have all been there for us during my health issues.
Last and certainly not least, you supported us by working for us. With every member of our staff family that has walked through our doors, you were there to tell us that we could depend upon you. You cleaned, you cooked, you made reservations, and you spoke with guests — proving that we can lean on you for support.
You are the reason we, the Magnolia Plantation, have been around for this long. Thank You. As we continue forward, we want to let you know that your love and support for us is everything to us.
We hope you continue your support and love for as long as we are here.
