Day 8 Vacation 2026
Another long boat ride to Shell K**b to Pizza Hut. An hour long boat ride for Pizza Hut may seem excessive but we are the Book It generation and this place is a throwback to our childhood. It’s something fun we get to share with the kids. The boat ride back included tubing and swimming in the cove visible from the deck of the house. The night included an emergency trip to Target… because teenage girls were in the house. It ended with a trip to Andy’s for a key lime pie concrete. Roothie’s life has been forever changed

Day 7 Vacation 2026
Finally made it to try Momo Sushi and Boba in Branson. Crab rangoons were amazing, we kept ordering more. Unfortunately later that day we were told we should have tried the avocado bomb. Guess we gotta go back 🤷‍♀️
Then to Tanger for back to school shopping. We found amazing deals at all of the athletic stores but just missed them at others.
Back home for relaxing on the deck, dinner, and more s’mores!

Day 6 vacation 2026
Finally a break in the heat! Boat ride up to Shell K**b for lunch at Watsons on the Water, ice cream and gas at Campbell Point. No, the captains hat was not purchased. After relaxing on the lake we headed in for our first campfire at the new fire pit

Day 5 vacation 2026:
Another hot day. Girls trip to Kansas City in the morning to pick up some stragglers and IKEA trip. Guys went around Branson on the hunt for a porch swing, over to Kimberling City for treats from my favorite coffee shop Simply Baked by Chandler, and finished putting lights up in the lower deck. By the evening it cooled down enough to visit Jackson Hollow for shell hunting and swimming. Roo’s first trip to the “beach” was a success! Back to the porch for a beautiful sunset that everyone had to get pictures of.

Day 4 vacation 2026-
It was HOTT! Quick trip to Tractor Supply in Hollister for new swings and hardware. Stop at Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks for yummy pastries. We like to try new restaurants, this trip we found Crazy Craigs Treehouse for fun atmosphere and good food!
