It may be raining…so it’s a good thing we have a roof! A few more little additions, and she’ll be ready to rock 🎶

Foleys Construction of Galena has done a beautiful job making our vision come to life. We are so excited to have this stage for our amazing musicians who have made the Vineyard the place to be on weekends 🥂

Did you know that this suite, called Rudolph's Retreat, is located on the site of the original Galena brewery and ice house? . . . and that this suite was named after it's brewmaster Rudolph Speier?

Ice was stored on the second floor and the beer brewed on the ground floor. The building was built in 1876 to increase brewing capacity and designed to handle 800 tons of ice on the 2nd floor to be used as an air conditioner for the ground floor via an air space between the outer stone wall and a brick inner wall. This was accomplished by opening the brick wall near the floor with moveable shutters.
