I would like to recognize this group of talented girls who make up the Galena girls basketball program. They had an amazing run this year bringing home the second place trophy in class 1A🤍💙🏀🏴‍☠️ This community came together to support these girls like nothing I've ever seen. I'm especially proud of my daughter #0, she's worked hard to get where she is today.

Our Story

We are the proud innkeepers of a beautiful mansion turned bed and breakfast. It was Carol’s dream to own a bed and breakfast after retirement, and Katie (daughter) wanted to see her mother’s dream come true. Her initial plan was to relocate to Maine, which is where she fell in love with bed and breakfasts. An offer was made for an Inn but it just wasn’t enough. Then we started to look closer to home and came across Galena which has so much to offer with it’s charm and rich history. We contacted to wonderful innkeepers of The Steamboat House, set up an appointment, and the rest is history! We have truly enjoyed these last four years, meeting new people, and creating lasting relationships. It is our goal to give our guests that home away from home.
