This was our third time staying in the Great House, and we hope to stay many more! The house is absolutely gorgeous with an amazing history. It’s extremely well-maintained and even better than described (yes, seriously!!). Great amenities in a quiet neighborhood. Linda is a phenomenal hostess!

When the whole family’s coming into town, you want somewhere that actually feels like home.

At The Great House of Galesburg, you’ll find a restored 1857 mansion with four private ensuite bedrooms so your group can be together without being on top of each other. Spend the evening in the front room, parlor, and library, then start your morning in the fully stocked kitchen with coffee and a continental breakfast. Have fun exploring the vault and the room believed to be part of the Underground Railroad.

Just minutes from Downtown Galesburg, Knox College, and the Amtrak station. Individual rooms are available as well.
