Cozy bayhouse with a great location!

We loved staying at this bayhouse. We have stayed at countless ones through the years and we all agreed it was the best one yet! First off it’s so comfortable for a family gathering. The bedrooms and bathrooms were so nice and comfortable (sometimes rare in Galveston), the kitchen was nice and large for cooking and so well equipped, and the upstairs and downstairs outdoor space was awesome! Our little guy loved playing with the chalk and we played co****le on the deck! Also maybe the most crazy couches ever, I literally looked for a tag to buy haha. Don’t pass this house up!!!

Family vacation

This house was over the top! My grandchildren and children lioved all the water toys that came with the house. The bunk room was a hit with the teens, they felt special having the room away from grown ups. The home really had everything you needed . The downstairs porch was a breezy place for us old folks to sit and watch the young ins have fun on the water. We will surly return for our next beach stay.

Sea Isle home on the canal

We had wonderful time! The property is well appointed, in a perfect location and has all of the amenities you need. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking around the canals and to the Marina. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend! 🐠🎣🏖️

Fun weekend getaway
We had 3 generations at the house and there was lots to do. We enjoyed kayaks and paddle boards on the canal, dinner at the restaurant at the marina and plenty of time at the beach. Grilled by the boat slip one night & enjoyed the patio. We rented a golf cart which made getting to and from the beach and the marina easy for the grandparents. Loved that we could bring our dogs. Great communication from owners.

Great Week at The Merry Yacht!

A group of 5 of us just spent a week at this property. I would highly recommend based on the overall experience. The pre-arrival communication was perfect and set the stage for a great week. The location combines tremendous outdoor spaces with ample indoor as well. Enjoy the lower level shade and breeze during the heat of the day and head upstairs when the sun sets. The kitchen and grill space allows you to cook for few or many. Bonus on the offset smoker which fired up perfectly for some nice ribs one day! Rooms are clean with incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. Honestly, no complaints and again, great hosts. Hope people enjoy it year round!!!

Wonderful home on a nice canal!
We had a great time at the Merry Yacht! We brought our boat for some canal cruising and fishing... and enjoyed the nice kitchen and outside deck spaces for visiting and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!
