Thanks to all my friends for your thoughts, prayers and concerns about Galveston and our condos. My friends and family in Louisiana and East Texas are having a difficult time as the storm ravages through there. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Just got to Halveston to remove storm shutters and prepare for guest's arrivals. The beaches are clean, the sun is shining, and yes...the water is still brown. We're still open for business! The Island was really busy this weekend with lots of sun and surf. I know a lot of people had to cancel their travel plans. Can the COVID-19 Virus Spread Through Pools and Hot Tubs?

According to the CDC, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

Was in Galveston today getting a condo ready to rent. It's a pool view, 1 bedroom that sleeps up to 6. I have 2 Ocean front condos that sleep up to 8 a d 5 others that are Ocean and Pool View. The 2 bedroom condos are perfect for a family of 4 or 5 and grandparents.

There was lots of activity on the Island with Mardi Gras happening now! The beaches looked nice and wide. The City recently replenished the beaches in front of the Victorian Resort and about a half mile from the Maravilla Resort. They are now about 50 to 70 yards wide. Plenty of room for pets to run around and chase the waves and birds. Busy Spring Season is about to begin. Still time to book a February stay with rates as low as $68 per night.
