I ran into an old friend last week who knows nothing about or about a but knows a lot about business and life. I explained to him what we do here at HWR&W. After some contemplation he said: “you’re bringing joy, connection and belonging to the world. Men need that. That’s more than just a hunting lodge.”

We could not agree more old friend.

HWR&W co founder Josh Wackler attended the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity banquet and fundraising auction last night. Our donated hunt brought in $10,000 for their foundation! Honored to get to play a small part in helping them do all the amazing things they do and already excited to welcome the lucky high bidder to our little slice of paradise in just over a month.

🚨 24-Hour notice to get your applications in for the Hero Dove Hunt in Kentucky at the Holland-WacklerRanch! If you're a veteran, 1st responder, or law enforcement officer, you have 24 hours to submit an application for the adventure below (see graphic for details).

We will close the application period on Thursday, August 6th, at 11:59pm and will announce the winners on Sunday, August 9th via social media. We will choose 4 winners, and they will be joined by our lucky fundraiser winner and his/her guest for a 2-day, 3-night dove hunt in Kentucky.

An opportunity for a great hunt at our wonderful location AND a shotgun!

What's better than winning a 2-day dove hunt? Winning a Mossberg 28ga Over/Under at the same time!

We've added a Mossberg Silver Reserve 28ga O/U with quail engravings to the Kentucky Hero Hunt Fundraiser which includes a 2-day, 3-night dove hunt at the Holland-Wackler Ranch in Gamaliel, Kentucky.

One lucky winner and his or her guest will be joining 4 veterans, 1st responders, and/or law enforcement officers on September 18th and 19th for an all-inclusive dove hunt. The winner, who will also receive the Mossberg, will need to arrive on Thursday, September 17th and departure is set for Sunday, September 20th. Meals, lodging, adult beverages, and the hunt are included in this fundraiser for the winner and his/her guest.
