The Nature Center at Moreau Lake features numerous wildlife mounts, pelts, skulls and other ephemera. Park staff lead numerous nature-based recreation programs for children and adults year-round, including hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing on over 20 miles of trails. 🐾REMINDER🌳
Pets are welcome at Moreau Lake State Park and Big Bend Preserve but must be supervised at all times and be on a leash not more than 6 feet in length. This is for the safety of pets, patrons, and other animals. It is especially important during the spring months when wildlife such as coyotes and foxes rear offspring and are particularly protective of their habitat and young.
