It has been a rough couple weeks at the campground. On Memorial day we had a tree come down, while Johnson Tree Service was there they noticed yet another tree that sadly needed to come down as well. It is hard to see these huge oak trees leaving our campground....but better to be safe than sorry. If we could only hear their stories, not sure if we would be laughing or crying one never knows.

Thanks to Shane, Ashley., Dennis and Rich for their hard work this past weekend. Repaired and Rebuilt some 22 picnic tables. Some were just a board here or there, others were a total rebuild. Once done they were either painted and or sealed. They will be a nice addition to this year's coming season.

We have re-opened after the flooding. We still have a few spot getting repaired but we are glad to be back up and running. We are looking forward to having you visit us at Shady Oaks Campground in Garden City, MN.

We have closed campground at the moment. Once the water recedes we will open back up the gates. Please stay safe and we will see you soon.

What a blast at the campground today. We could not have asked for better weather here are just a few of the pictures. Thanks to Making Faces Mankato for coming out and creating these amazing creatures. Our hope is that everyone had a great time.
