The latest on the parking garage juggling act.

BEFORE 8AM tomorrow (Thursday) level A & B will need all vehicles removed. Golf carts can be parked on Level D South end only.

Level C will remain closed tonight and tomorrow.

Level E & F (the two top levels) are open, plenty of parking up there.

Level D the south end only will open after 4PM today (Wednesday). The south end is the end closest to the Garden City Inn. Park only to the left of the ramp.

If your vehicle is parked in an area that will remain closed or will close tomorrow, we will either call you or knock on your door before 8AM.

FYI Level A is the lowest level where you enter the garage. Level B is the next one up from A (both will close tomorrow at 8AM). Level C is the next up from level B (Closed). Level D is up the ramp from B (only south end open after 4PM today). Level E & F are the 2 top levels and are fully open.

Just a heads up, the garage will be painted starting Monday, November 24 so the juggling act will continue next week.

The HOA will be having the parking garage cleaned beginning on Tuesday, November 18. They plan to begin on the top 2 levels (Levels E & F). Please do NOT park on those levels after Monday evening. The cleaning will continue on Wednesday (Levels C & D) & Thursday (Levels A & B). Risk Management will be closing off these areas the night before.

Beginning the week of Thanksgiving. the garage will be striped. I will post more information as soon as I have it regarding parking at that time.

They look like pieces of fiberglass piled up along the sand in the Myrtle Beach area.

While they look and feel like fiberglass, this unusual scene that has been washing up on the beaches in the last week is actually sea butterflies.

And while they don’t fly, they do hurt. They are actually shells of a group of swimming snails called pteropods, or sea butterflies.

The snails can cause stings to swimmers when the shells pe*****te a bathing suit, according to the University of Florida. The sting feels like that of a bee. Read the details: bit.ly/3UGIYZH

NEW HANDS-FREE DRIVING LAW INFORMATION. READ BELOW!⬇️📱🚗

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster signed the state’s new hands-free law this week. The law goes into effect September 1. It prohibits drivers from holding or supporting a mobile electronic device with any part of their body while driving.

Under the new law, drivers will not be allowed to use a mobile device to read, compose or transmit texts, emails, app interactions or website information. Drivers are also barred from watching videos, movies, games or video calls. Exemptions include if you are lawfully parked or stopped, initiating a voice-based communication converted by your device or reporting an emergency.

Law enforcement will issue warnings for violations of the hands-free law for the first 180 days after the law goes into effect.
