BIG Announcement!!! This is bittersweet. This week was our last at our woodshop. We have had this in the works for a few months and we can now let everyone know. There were a lot of rumors that Rackensack is shutting down or going out of business. We actually sold our property a few months back and now have sold Rackensack. We have mixed emotions and feelings but we are so excited about the new ownership. Rackensack will remain in northwest Arkansas and will be expanding operations. The new ownership will be making announcements over the next few weeks as they set up the new shop. Please continue your support for the new owners.
Now the hard part, this will be my last Rackensack post. As you can tell by the pics, it has been a blur around the shop lately. I want to take this opportunity to express our GRATITUDE!!! As I reflect over these last 8 years, I could not be more thankful for the journey that our customers, followers, family, friends and even competitors have allowed us to be on. We have had the opportunity to do some amazing projects and work with some of the most talented people in the industry. None of this would have been possible without each and every one of our supporters. A big Thanks from the bottom of our hearts. I’m going to leave you with a saying I learned from my time in Tahlequah with the Cherokee Nation. Their language does not have a word for “goodbye” but instead they say “Donadagohvi” which translates into “until we meet again”
Les is moving back to Nebraska and I will be moving to Oklahoma full time. You can check out my new chapter

God Bless and Thank you all for everything!!!’

The Ranch Table

04/21/2026

Another beauty custom built for a great couple. This was an anniversary present to his wife and they wanted sentimental wedding pieces set in their table. This was a huge walnut tree that was harvested in Northwest Arkansas. We milled and then kiln dried these slabs.

👀 check these legs out!!! This is another beautiful custom made table made from a local Cherry tree. Just in time for Easter.
