Delphian Lodge No. 44 stated communication at 7 30 at the Optimist building in the North Park. This will be the spring visit from the District Deputy .
Also a reminder the June meeting will be a prospect night all past and current members are welcome. It's for reinstatements and anyone interested in becoming a Mason. It will start at 6.30 with a Hamburger and Brats meal with sides.

The Grand Master's personal representative, William Fouser, will be in Garnett for our meeting this Thursday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. He will be bringing greetings from our Grand Master and delivering important information for all Kansas Masons.

As your cable-tow allows, the family of Donnie Willford, Master of McKinley Lodge 41 in Pomona, has requested a Masonic-only funeral service for Saturday, February 10.

Please bring/wear your apron or other regalia. White gloves are appropriate.

It's been a day or two since its been seen but, while moving the Tyler's desk out from the wall, we found the history paper that goes with the picture that has been hanging on the wall over the desk for years. Nobody in modern times knew the significance of the picture, but it seems one of our secretaries did some research. (See how important those minutes they take are...who knew!) ❤

As we start on our 159th year in Garnett, we look forward to the unknown journey ahead.

As we prepare to move, we have rediscovered the records from the lodges in Greeley (211) and Westphalia (Avon 305) which consolidated with us. As we continue, we hope to find the records from the Richmond Lodge (426) which we helped charter in 1922.

66-year member of Delphian Lodge No. 44, Robert "Bob" Meliza has passed away.

While many current members know Bob for his 12 years of service as Lodge Secretary, he also served in every officer position except Treasurer and served as Master in 1971.

Visitation will be Friday evening at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service chapel in Garnett from 6 to 8.

Funeral services followed by a Masonic service will occur on Saturday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Garnett. Interment with military honors will follow at the Garnett Cemetery.

Kansas Lodge of Research - KSLOR Director Alex Powers was a surprise visitor at our meeting and the Master unexpectedly called upon him to provide Masonic Education. He knocked it out of the park with a seemingly off-the-cuff talk about the history of the Kansas Grand Lodges and the upcoming 25 year celebration. (Make sure and get registered to attend.)
