GRATEFULFEST UPDATE!
THE Cleveland Skydiving Center is planning a very exciting drop for this Saturday, Gratefulfest. They did not get to drop at Grassfire because of weather. So they have extra smoke, fire and fireworks they will be flying in with. And for Gratefulfest they are putting a floating landing zone in front of the beach, in the water. Watch from the beach as they sweep the crowd, drag their feet, and splashdown in front of ya'll. Drop will be before sunset. Ill make an announcement. Dont miss it!!!☮️🩷🌠

WHAT IS GRATEFULFEST???
It was 1983 when I eagerly hopped on the bus with the Grateful Dead. The band, music, and amazing experiences were to become who I am today. The people I met, the places I got to see, the incredible shows, and memorable experiences, mean absolutely everything to me. After Jerry's passing i was managing the park, with a blurry vision of the future. When we purchased the park, and I began doing festivals, it was my main focus to do a show that could bring the music, and those experiences here to the the park, for all to enjoy. Especially those of you who never got a chance to see any of that world. So, in 1999 I started Gratefulfest. A celebration of it all, the best I knew how. Now our longest running show, we have had some great ones. This year is one of the sweetest lineups and weekends yet!!! Oteil Burbridge, bassist for the Allman Brothers Band, and founding member of Dead and Company, brings in an all-star lineup. His show is unforgettable! Its such a treat to have them. So, i had to compliment Oteil with the finest lineup i could come up with. One by one, everyone i reached out to signed on with excitement. So... Here we go. Pregame tonight, with Into the Blue, and special guest, our old friend Cherylann Hawk!. Good folks are rolling in from every state. Gratefulfest alumni from years ago, excited as I am. Wonderful vendors, many with a grateful flare. Family from all over. The weather looks stellar. And ive said for months that this is the show of the summer. Ya know I dont bu****it, and here she is. Skydivers, performers, artists, musicians, all tied together with the music that means SO much, to so many. We still have 800 tickets left before a sellout. Which means it will be a busy, but comfortable show. And we will have tickets available through the weekend. If you cant get out for the weekend, you certainly dont want to miss Saturday. So, ive decided to make Saturday-Sunday tickets super reasonable at $80. We will have tickets at the gate for the weekend, or Saturday, at the gate. Kids still free. So bring the family. Bring yourself. But bring it!!! Its Gratefulfest time. And its a good one. Thats right folks, the music never stopped. I personally have much to be grateful for. How bout you? So let's celebrate, together. Shall we go, you and i, while we can?
