KABOOM!!! Its your ultimate 4th of July vacation!!!
Thanks for your patience. This one took a while, jam packed with fun. We managed to fit many of our favorites, with old friend Sam Bush making it back with the band, to open for Greensky on Saturday. And dont forget Peter Rowan's birthday party! Great news- we have upgraded and have over 100 new RV sites and should not sell out. Last years nuclear blast on the island was one of the coolest things ever. We have put more into this years fireworks show with Pheonix Pyrotechnics, that's sure to blow your minds, again. We are also grateful to have Cleveland Parachute Center, dropping skydivers to swoop in, and planning some 4th of July tricks as they land on the beach and water. And there is nothing like our beach and water on a hot 4th weekend! Super family value with kids 16 & under, free w parent, and tickets are super reasonable for what you get. Kids activities. Enfuego fire performers. Food drive for prizes. Our tasty family of vendors. We recommend coming Thursday to get a jump on things. Fireside Collective and Rumpke will play the early Thursday evening. Tickets good till Monday. No rush, its a vacation! Its 4th of July weekend!!!

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park: Come Experience the Adventure

In the late 1940's & 50's, what's now Nelson Ledges Quarry Park was an operating rock quarry. It employed many people in the surrounding area, mining both quartz & sand. As the story goes, one day in the late 1950's the machinery hit one of the many springs, & the 30-acre quarry filled within days leaving diving cliffs, peninsulas, rock shelves & an island in the middle. The location has since become a hot spot for camping, hiking, swimming, cliff diving, sunbathing & more.
