Come on out! We will be there!

💦 Ready. Set. Float! The Gasquet Raft Races is happening this Saturday, July 11, 2026

Come float (in costumes) down the Smith River at the 57th annual Gasquet Raft Race at the Forks in Gasquet. Every second Saturday in July, people break out their favorite floaties — think rafts, kayaks, giant swans, and even air mattresses — to drift down the sparkling Smith River. Costumes and raft decor is strongly encouraged.

Food, drink, live music, and prizes! Register your raft to support the American Legion and our local veterans. Sign up starts at 10AM at the American Legion Hall in Gasquet. The float starts at noon!
