🍁 SMOKY MOUNTAIN / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTANS FALL COLOR UPDATE • OCTOBER 19 🍁

The mountains are putting on their fall show—and what we’re seeing in person doesn’t completely match the predicted map! 👀🍂

Our local observations show color is reaching PEAK in mountain areas around 5,000 feet and above. Some spots are less advanced than the map suggests, so don’t count those higher elevations out just yet!

This map highlights Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, Blue Ridge, GA, and Big Canoe, GA, to help you get your bearings. Remember, the shading represents estimated conditions. Elevation, slope, and location can make a big difference in what you’ll see.
