While Alaska's brown bears pack on pounds for winter, fall in the Smokies is black bear season too — and there's no better basecamp than Point of View Cabin in Gatlinburg.

4 bedrooms / 4 baths (sleeps 10), Smoky Mountain views from both balconies, private hot tub + sauna, game room with arcade games and pool table. Cozy up after a day of leaf-peeping.

A bird's-eye view of Point of View Cabin.

This drone shot looks down on the cabin, tucked into the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee — a vacation rental that delivers the sweeping mountain views it's named for, right from your own balconies.

Relax in the private hot tub, unwind in the sauna, and spend evenings in the game room. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms give your whole group room to spread out, and you're just minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park and all the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions.
