Today’s a beautiful day at Smoky Bear Campground as we welcome our campers back for another amazing season!

We’ve missed the laughter, the campfires, the quiet mornings, and all the special moments that make this place feel like home. We’re so grateful to gather together again and can’t wait to make new memories with you.

As we wrap up another season, we want to send a huge thank you to our crew and to all the campers who visited us this year. Your smiles, stories, campfires, and adventures are what keep this place alive. We truly couldn’t do any of this without you.
Smoky Bear Campground is now officially closed for the winter, and we’ll be using these colder months to rest, recharge, and make a few improvements so next season is even better.
We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back in March—old friends and new faces alike. Until then, stay warm, stay safe, and keep that campfire spirit glowing.

Update: Our water has been restored!!!! Thank you to our utility company for working overtime for our community.

Hurricane Helene has impacted our area, and our hearts go out to those affected. Smoky Bear Campground remains open with electricity, but we're currently experiencing water outages. To ensure your comfort, please fill up your water tanks before arriving. Also, be aware of regional road closures and check your driving route before heading out. Most roads and business’s around us are open. For the latest updates or to address any questions, please call us directly at 865-436-8372.
