Thank You, Dolly
From all of us at Elk Springs Resort, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Dolly Parton — not simply for what she has accomplished, but for what she has given back to the place she has always called home.
Dolly brought the eyes of the world to the Smoky Mountains, but she never forgot the people who live here. Her generosity, her investment in our community, her support of families in difficult times, and her belief in giving children opportunities have left a mark on Sevier County that reaches far beyond music or tourism.
For those of us fortunate enough to own businesses here, we also owe her a special debt of gratitude. She helped introduce generations of visitors to the beauty, warmth, and character of East Tennessee — and countless local families and businesses have benefited because they came.
Most of all, she has shown the world that you can achieve extraordinary success without leaving your roots behind.
