It’s an ever changing skyscape in The Great Smoky Mountains N.P. We ran out onto the cabin deck when the rainbow first caught our eye. Then a huge golden cloud glowed as if heaven was beaming. Five minutes later and it had quickly splashed peach, pink and purple colors upon the mountains as if to say “Goodnight my friends” ❤️ This took place over 20 minutes.

June flowers in The Great Smoky Mountains are so beautiful. My friend Karen and I decided to go on a scavenger hunt exploring the Smokies of wild flowers. We photographed any kind of flower we saw on our quest. The Sugarlands VC has flowerbeds displaying a lot of the flower varieties found in TGSM. The pictures came from the cabin and TGSM.
🌸The lady sitting on the rock is my Mom. Sunday marks the fourth year of her passing. We planted the flowers at the entrance of the cabin together. It’s such a happy memory each year when they bloom reminding me of her ❤️🌺🌸

Somebody is going to be so lucky today. We had to shorten our reservation at the cabin so there are now 4 consecutive June nights available 🎉‼️ June 15 - 19. June 16th sunset is when I captured the orange sun rays on the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s such a beautiful time in the Smokies‼️

Saw this Bald Eagle near the cabin. Sometimes I get lucky and spot them from the deck. The times I’ve seen them, they usually fly over between 10 - 11:00 from the east and soar parallel with The Great Smoky Mts. heading in a westward flight path. Amazing birds to watch ❤️

WOW 😮 The bears are out‼️We saw a momma black bear with her 4 cubs in the neighborhood yesterday. It was fun watching them playing around with each other. Needless to say, we stayed in the car‼️
