Start with a short, scenic 15-minute drive to Vanderbilt Vines Winery & Tasting Room. Tucked just outside of town, this charming spot is part of the Petoskey Wine Trail and offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a tasting, find a favorite, and if you time it right, you might even catch some live music.

From there, head back into Ga***rd for dinner at Bennethum's Northern Inn. A local favorite known for its classic great steaks and cozy setting...it's the perfect place to enjoy a great meal.

The Spring Festival at Kiwidinok Tibetan Yak Farm (April 15–20) is a chance to get up close with baby farm animals… lambs, baby yaks, and more. It’s a laid-back, hands-on experience that’s perfect for families or anyone wanting to get outside and enjoy the season.

Guided tours run Wednesday–Monday at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00, and spots fill up quickly, so planning ahead is recommended.
