Introducing “The Marsh” at The Ridge ⛳🌊
Due to high water levels temporarily covering several bridges on our back nine, we’ve decided to turn the situation into something fun.
Holes 18 and 10–14 have officially become a 6-hole short course called “The Marsh.”
Golfers will start on 18 before making their way through a unique short-course layout that’s equal parts golf and Northern Michigan adventure.
The Ridge front nine remains open for regular play, and Stay & Play guests will still receive their full 18-hole experience — plus complimentary access to The Marsh.
Public rate for The Marsh is $34 or unlimited golf for $50
6 holes takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes — perfect for a quick round after work or a fun evening on the course. Public welcome!
The Marsh opens May 29th!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and Head Chef, Joel Quay.
Joel was always ready to lend a hand and bring warmth and kindness into every room he entered. He was one of the nicest, happiest, hardest-working, and most genuine souls you could ever hope to meet.
Joel’s passion, generosity, and infectious spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. There are truly no words to describe how deeply he will be missed by his family, friends, and all of us here at The Loon Golf Resort.
Rest easy, Joel. Your legacy lives on in the memories, laughter, and love you shared with so many.
