Rawdon Cottages, a family-owned business in continuous operation since 1915, is located on the Lake Erie shore only steps from the west end of the entertainment strip in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio. Our rental season runs from Memorial Day to approximately September 15, depending on the weather. Our three cottages—Robinhood, Hazelwood, and Lakeside—are situated on landscaped grounds with a private be
ach. Robinhood/Hazelwood, a duplex cottage on the south side of our property (near the street), is ideal for large families. Each side of the duplex sleeps 6, so a total of 12 people can be accommodated. You can open the locking doors between the two sides and spread out—or keep the doors closed if you want less togetherness! One side of the duplex has a lake view, and the other side has a street view. Each side has two bedrooms upstairs, as well as a living room, dining room, kitchen, large bathroom (with shower), and screened porch on the first floor. Weekly rate (Sunday to Sunday): $650 (low season) or $715 (high season) per duplex side (+8% GOTL bed tax). A $125 deposit (per side) is required at the time of reservation. Note that the duplex does NOT have AC, but we provide window fans to help cool the cottage. Lakeside, which is on the beach side of the property and has a spectacular lake view, sleeps up to 8 adults. Weekly rate: $1150 (+8% GOTL bed tax). A $125 deposit is required at the time of reservation. This cottage has window-unit AC. We ask that guests bring their own linens, but linens are available on request for $55 per week. (Note that linens are NOT available for summer 2022, owing to COVID-19.) We provide off-street parking for a maximum of 3 cars each for Robinhood and Hazelwood and a maximum of 4 cars for Lakeside. Small pets (25 lbs or less) are permitted for a fee ($8 per night per pet). **If you arrive with a pet weighing more than 25 lbs, the fee will be $11 per night per pet.** Note that for the duplex, you cannot bring a pet unless you rent both sides; this policy is to avoid problems with noise (barking).
