The Lakehouse Inn & Winery is a boutique resort in Northeast Ohio is located along the southern shore of Lake Erie in Geneva-on-the-Lake. The property consists of an nine-room bed and breakfast, four cottages, Crosswinds Grille, featuring farm-to-table cuisine and the Spa. There are a number of packages/events to experience throughout the year. Fall colors are stunning while the days are still com

fortable along the shoreline due to the warmer lake water. Lake Erie is also very captivating during the winter months as the lake terrain turns very tundra-like. The Lakehouse Inn is along the “Lake Erie Wines & Vines” trail, which is at the heart of Ohio Wine Country. The Lakehouse Inn is within walking distance of Ohio’s oldest resort, “The Strip” where there are a number of games, small shops, and a number of eateries. For activity enthusiasts, there are a number of golf courses, hiking and biking trails. The inn is a short distance from the Metroparks biking/walking trails. If you would like to get out for a drive, a trip to the historic Ashtabula Harbor, a stroll through one of Ashtabula County’s Covered Bridges, or exploring the Barn Quilt Trail across Ashtabula County are just a few possibilities.

From there, choose from entrées like a 16 oz. dry-aged bone-in ribeye, pan-seared ahi tuna, or grilled vegetable ravioli with sun-dried tomato cream sauce. When was the last time it was just the two of you — no phones, no to-do list, no one needing anything?

Life gets loud. Between work and the household and everything else, "us time" is usually the first thing to slip. This is your reminder to put it back on the calendar.

Our Couples Retreat is 2.5 hours built for exactly that: a 60-minute massage side by side, then the infrared sauna, a private shower for two, and a quiet lounge by the fireplace — time to actually sit, breathe, and reconnect. We're the only spa in the area that offers couples treatments, and once the summer rush settles down, there's no better moment for it.
